KoliFin
KoliFin is a personal finance app made by Kolitech.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account system, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We never receive your financial data.
Where your data is stored
Everything you enter (accounts, transactions, loans, bills, receipts) is stored only on your phone, in the app's private storage.
Backups
If you turn on backups, the app creates an encrypted copy of your data on your phone and saves it to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive account. The encryption key comes from a backup password that you choose; the password is never stored or sent anywhere, and we cannot read your backups or recover a forgotten password. Apple's or Google's own privacy policies apply to files stored in your iCloud Drive or Google Drive.
When you connect Google Drive, the app asks only for access to its own hidden app folder (drive.appdata). It cannot see your other Drive files.
Camera, photos and notifications
Receipt photos you take or choose are stored only inside the app on your phone. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone; nothing is sent to a server.
Security
The app can be locked with Face ID, fingerprint or a PIN. Backups are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they leave your phone.
Deleting your data
Delete the app to remove all data from your phone. Delete backups from iCloud Drive (Files › iCloud Drive › KoliFin) or, for Google Drive, from Drive settings › Manage apps.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
